Which artificial sweeteners are available at TS and CS restaurants? Do they vary across restaurants?

I only like Splenda so I'm not sure whether to pack my own or not.

Thanks!:goodvibes

We just left Disney today, so I had to laugh. My husband fiddled around with all the sweeteners, trying to "fix" his iced tea at every meal. The sugar never would melt... They have the pink one, the blue one, and a yellow one! :lmao:

:rotfl: Yellow is Splenda-thank you!!

Sometime last year all the Table Service Resturants and Quick Service locations in Walt Disney World took away all their Splenda and it's no longer available on property. They do have another yellow packate that looks like it, however I can say 100% it's not Splenda.

Oh great! It looks like I have another thing to pack!

Good question OP!

They didn't have name brands on them, that's why I referred to them by color - pink, blue, and yellow.
One was aspartame, one saccharine, and one was sucralose based.

I don't have a problem with the 'generics'. I often buy the store brand version of Splenda at home. But watch out if you eat anywhere off Disney property - it is not unusual to find only saccharine on the table.:mad: For that reason, I always carry a few yellow packets with me.

I believe it is the same stuff in the yellow packet. It just does not carry the brand name "Splenda." If the brand name matters, then bring your own.

My Mom always uses Spledna and once tried the new yellow packet, well she said it doesn't taste like it at all.

We are fine with generic Splenda! Just can't tolerate the pink & blue packets and in the August heat, I know I'm going to be downing iced tea everywhere I go!!

Well, things do vary among brands, and to some people it makes a big difference. It is the same type of sweetener but it is not Splenda brand.
