I just read an article in last week's Entertainment Weekly about the show iCarly on Nick. I knew the show was popular in my household, but didn't realize that the show was this popular with everyone. 12 million people viewed an episode a few months ago that is the top rated cable broadcast this year - and that Miranda Cosgrove is now making 3 Million for the next 26 episodes.

The show is very clever, well written and something our whole family can watch. The supporting cast all play well off of each other and the bloopers show last week was a riot.

Even though I occasionally wince at the way the kids talk -especially to teachers etc... It does make me laugh.
I think some of the characters are hilarious. Gibby is one of my favorites. I also like one of the older shows where they go to the cheesecake factory knock-off and have the huge portions. :)

Count the DD and myself as watchers of the show. She loves the thing and so I'll sit here and watch it with her most the time. Since we had a favorite episode added I'll list mine as the one where they hold the contest to see who gets the most people to see their sign and go to the website. The freeway sign going crazy and saying "Pee On Carl" has to be one of greatest things ever in my opinion..

Cheesecake Warehouse? I love all the names they give stuff...like BF Wangs. :lmao: OMG, it's one of my favorite shows. Gibby and Spencer are my favorites!! Oh yeah...my kids like it too.

Freddie's mom is a RIOT!!!! And we can't forget Lewbert!

Don't forget the Pear computers!!

My children who are 13, 10, 9 and 8 love iCarly, but I personally, can not sit through an episode. It's just so stupid and unrealistic.

icarly is one of the few kids shows that I actually enjoy. I can't stand Hannah Montana and some of the other shows out there.

I have to say that my kids no longer watch the Disney Channel -- if you ask them what their favorite show is they will say iCarly. I'm OK with it as long as they still want to visit Disney and not the Nick Suites hotel!!! :scared1:

So glad I am not the only ICarly adult fan. The show is fun and safe for the whole family. I was and still am a big Drake and Josh fan.

DS6 and I love iCarly! Spencer is my favorite. I thought he was funny as "Crazy Steve" on Drake & Josh, too.

All 5 of us sit down to watch the new episodes together. DS (alomst 4) is the biggest fan in the house. He's even getting in to Victorious as some of the actors who had appeared on iCarly, moved over to that show.

We got a kick out of seeing "Gibby" (Noah Munck) on a lawn-care commercial last night. Shouted: That's Gibby!

Fantastic show.

We are an iCarly family as well, lol. My DS is 9 and loves that show (I think he secretly has a crush on the girl that plays Sam). I have loved Miranda Cosgrove since she was on Drake & Josh. Even my almost 3 yr old finds parts of it funny.

I have only seen bits and pieces of a couple of episodes, but my kids love the show. In fact, if they ever miss an episode they watch it online!:happytv:

iCarly is always on in out house, and I even catch my 6 year old ds watching it when my dd isn't in the room. I think he has a crush on Amanda but he denys it :lovestruc

When it first came on dd was not allowed to watch it. I didn't care for the way some of the charactors were written. After some pleading because "everyone else watches it", I gave in. Its not so bad, however its not one of my favorite shows but they do have some pretty funny writers, and I catch myself laughing alot when its on.

I was kinda confused though, seeing him with his shirt on!!!

All 3 of us watch both here, too! I love that's there's things on now that we all like.

Did anyone just see "Carly" interviewed on The View?

Eh, its okay.........I'm glad its a good clean show that the kids can watch. I'm just not crazy about Sam being so hateful and mean. But as far as teen shows go, I think Drake and Josh was way funnier- I LOVED JOSH! And back in the day, I loved That's So Raven and Lizzy McGuire!
