We just returned from staying at the BCV and meeting Art for the first time. He is a such a wonderful man and I hope we get the chance to see him again.

Art is a true gentleman. When I asked if I could have my picture taken with him, he said very humbly "You honor me, madame. You honor me."

Hello - yes I am actually, thanks for asking! I will be collecting information until the 1st week of November.

Everyone planning your summer vacations, don't forget I'm collecting comments, stories and pictures with Art.

I will be giving him the scrapbook during my December trip. Unfortunately it's no longer a surprise since a guest told him about it this week.

That is such a nice thing to do! I first met Art on our first trip home to BCV, which was in August, 2004, on the same day that Hurricane Charley hit. I'll always remember the extra effort all the cast members put into making our stay as magical as always, despite the storm raging outside and the difficulties they were all dealing with. I devoted a scrapbook page to the experience, with a picture of Art and me. I traded pins with Art, and the pin he gave me is included on my page. His beautiful smile and way of making us really feel welcomed home are one of the things I love so much about our Beach Club home. I'll scan the page and send it to you. I've often thought about how to do something to show appreciation to some of the very special cast members who have touched our lives. I hope they know how much happiness they bring!

My first memories of Art were at Christmas time in 1998. During this trip if I was in the lobby I would see my 17 year old son and his friend always make sure that they saluted Art whenever they could. They laughed about this and thought that Art was so cool. It was like it was their trip highlight

We stayed at the Beach Club Villas just this past June (prior to our cruise). When I saw Art, I saluted to him , and he saluted back!!

For the remainder of our stay, each time he saw me he'd salute, then point to me and laugh. Of course, I saluted right back to him .

He's the best. A real icon if you ask me. What other greeter in ANY other hotel in the world is as well-known and loved as Art??
