Art of Animation vs Coronado Springs

We're thinking of heading down in December to see Christmas decorations, such as they may be this year. We want to stay in one of these two resorts so that we're not sharing elevator, lobby space, or hallways with many other people. We've stayed at, and like Coronado, but are considering whether there are transportation upsides to having Skyliner access. Are there other comparison points to consider?

The only thing I might consider is a back up resort in case either or both of these resorts don’t end up opening in the fall.
