Hi Disers! We are scheduling a June trip and I wonder if anyone has advice for our family... We are a family of five (me, DH, DS18, DD17, and DS 4). We have stayed at AoA and loved it. Our fav is POFQ but with five now we cant do that. Never stayed at WL. DS18 wants AoA. I think it might be more exciting for DS4. But DD and I are leaning toward WL. Can I convince DS that it will be just as fun and exciting? Or is he right? Any plus or minus points about WL that you have experienced when it comes to families?

We haven't stayed at AoA, but of all of the resorts we've stayed at, WL is my absolute favorite! Our kids love the pools, the new Geyser Point quick service with table service option is wonderful, and the WL is such a beautiful resort.

We’re doing a split stay with our 5 in April. AoA suite followed by a 2-bdrm villa at BCV.

Goal is to let the kids enjoy a few days at AoA and then let my wife and I relax and spread out more at BCV.

We've booked a 6 night stay at BR in June - a 2 Br villa for the first time and we're super excited!!! We stayed at WL for our first 2 trips to WDW and LOVED LOVED LOVED it and this will be our first villa stay.

We are a party of 4 and our boys will be almost 19 and 16 for the trip and we need the extra room and 2 bathrooms for sure!

and taking the boat to and from MK is fabulous!!

Our last stay a few years ago at Villas at Wilderness Lodge (now known as Boulder Ridge Villas) was in a dedicated two bedroom villa. The second bedroom was very large.

IMHO, there's simply no comparison. WL is SO much nicer than AoA! Two pools, a slide, tons of recreation activities, 2 great QS, 2 great TS, a boat to MK, CR and Ft. W (which is a lot of fun as well!) and a GORGEOUS lobby. We've stayed at both - WL (in the resort and villa sides) 3 times and AoA once (because I will never go back!)
