Arriving on Christmas night--Which hotel before Cruise?

We are going on the Dec. 27th Magic. We will be flying in to MCO on the evening of the 25th. We have decided to spend the 26th at the Magic Kingdom. Expedia has decent prices for the Hilton, Courtyard by the Marriot and the Hotel Royal Plaza. Does anyone have any preferences for one over the other. We are planning on using a towncar for transport to hotel, hotel to port, etc. so we want to be on Disney property but would prefer not to do the values and I just can't justify the price of a moderate (Christmas time is so expensive but the only time we can go). Any other suggestions or should one of these hotels work fine?

Hi Ami -

The Magic leaves on Tuesday, December 26th for a 4 day cruise ! If this is your cruise, I'd hate for you to be in the Magic Kingdom when the ship is leaving port!

Are you sure you're on the Magic? Does the Wonder leave on the 27th?

The Hotel Royal Plaza gets some mixed reviews. So, I think I'd go w/ either the Hilton or Courtyard Marriott. Personally, across the board I like the Courtyards. However both are comparable and I'd probably go w/ the cheaper one. Have a great trip!

Hotel Royal Plaza or Hilton at Downtown Disney. HRP is probably less expensive and I am sure you will not be disappointed. Hilton however is directly across the street from DTD which is nice.
