Our plane won't arrive in Orlando until 8:30 pm on Sunday in June. I am sure it will be much later when we get to Beach Club. So, where can we get a late dinner near BC? MK will also be open until 2 am so we could eat there too. Thanks for any advice! Dana :thumbsup2
I guess I should say it is for four including dh, two dds 12 & 6, and me...:yay:

if you're looking for a sit down but not fussy place - I'd suggest the Big River Grill over on the Boardwalk.
They have a nice varied menu - reasonable prices - and DON'T take ADRs - you can just walk up. There is outdoor seating as well inside and they have a bar area with high tables too.
My husband and I really enjoy it

Are you looking for a sit down dinner? Or counter service?
IMHO, I would suggest grabbing a quick counter service dinner, getting a good nights sleep, and waking up fully refreshed and raring to go.

I agree! Get a bite to eat, settle in your room, a good night sleep, and then be at a park for the rope drop! Good luck!

I would think that either Big River Grill or ESPN Club would be the best choices if you're looking for a sit down dinner. Neither take ADRs and you shouldn't have to wait for a table at such an off-peak dinner time.

Arriving that late, though, my first choice would be room service!

We just grab something at the airport when we land (Burger King) and it gives us a little time to relax from the stressful traveling day. We take about 35 minutes, freshen up in the bathroom, and then hit DME raring to go!

since you are arriving later and have kids, I would just eat in your resort (maybe Beaches & Cream) and afterwards walk around and enjoy your resort. Or if the kids are just too tired order room service and unpack and unwind and start early and fresh for your first full day in Disney.

How late is beaches and cream open?

The Fountain at the Dolphin is a good late night option. If the kids are too tired for a real meal, just get them some ice cream. Typical grill options that are well prepared.

I would go with a CS and get a good night's sleep! :) There's the Boardwalk Bakery and also Big River Grille id TS but not fussy and no ADRs. The Beach Club Marketplace has some good options and it's right at your resort. Also, Beaches & Cream is technically considered a TS but it's pretty fast and there are no ADR's either. If you don't care about getting to bed early and want to go out, then at MK I would recommend Tony's Town Square, which is not fussy and a great atmosphere with good food. Also, there is Liberty Tree Tavern which is wonderful. There is the Plaza as well, which is very nice and has some good eatin' with no fuss. There are plenty of CS places at the MK as well, but that seems kind of pointless to me. If you're gonna do a CS, just stay by or at your resort. There are some great TS places on the monorail as well, such as The Wave at CR, Kona Cafe at the Poly, and Grand Floridian Cafe at the GF. These places all have really great food. :)

Happy planning! :)

I vote for Beach Club Marketplace or someplace else right there. By the time you get to the BC and check in you are getting close to 10pm! After you eat if you are all too excited to sleep you can walk around, check out the pool and that kind of stuff. The boardwalk area is beautiful at nite!
Have a great vacation!

You need to the focus on the arrival time here. If your plane lands at 8:30 PM you are going to arrive at BC about 10 PM. You have to check in or at least leave your carry-on bags with bell services.

You need to choose from late-night options at BC, YC, BW and S/D.

YC/BC
- TS doesn't seat after ten PM, except Beachs 'n Cream.
- Room Service
- Marketplace

Boardwalk
- ESPN and Big River are definitely open until 11 PM (possibly later)
- Not sure when last seating is for Kouzzina and Flying Fish
- Boardwalk Bakery (sandwiches and desserts) closes at 11 PM
- Not sure when the fast food kiosks close, but definitely open until 11 PM

S/D
- Picabu Buffeteria at the Dolphin is open 24 hrs.
- Not sure on times of other TS and CS

Another note: Even if MK is open very late that night, the food locations all close earlier except a few locations, and it will take you 30-45 minutes to get to MK from BC.
