Arriving earlier than scheduled for DME

DD and I were originally going to take a morning flight arriving at MCO around 10:15 and take DME to Disney. But now I think we might take a flight in the night before and stay at one of the airport hotels for that night and take DME the next morning. Mostly because I really want to plan to get to our resort a little earlier than 11:45. So we can go have breakfast somewhere before heading to the parks.

Will we have a problem if we get to DME earlier than we were originally scheduled? We’ll have our luggage with us so can we just arrive at DME around maybe 7:30 or 8:00 and take a bus then or do I need to find a flight coming in around then and call and tell them that flight number? We did this last year and I had no problem finding a flight that came in around the time I wanted to take DME. But I wondered if I even need to fool with that since we are still taking DME the same day, just a little earlier.

call DME.

You'll be fine as long as you're there on the same day you originally booked. Obviously, don't put the ME tags on your checked bags. I think that if you called DME to explain your situation, you'd only confuse them. People end up getting earlier connections, etc. all the time. It's not unheard of and they can accommodate you when you check in with ME to catch the bus. Be sure to have your vouchers -- that's what they really want.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping. Last time I searched around until I found a flight arriving at the time I wanted to take DME. But this time I was hoping we could just get there as soon as I can get DD up and out the door!

NO problem on the inbound as long as you are a registered guest on the day you want to travel. In fact often timess the DME info doesn't even have flight information for the trip to Disney. We have arrived earlier due to last minute rescheduling at the airport and arrived very late due to canceled flights.

On the outbound you are assigned to a specific but so be sure that info is accurate and make sure you are on time!
