Arrived today....So far so good

We are staying at the Paradise Pier. So far everything is great. The check in was easy. The room was nice and clean. Our luggage was delivered within minutes. The wait for the elevators was not long at all. The internet is even working unlike the last time we stayed here. We just got in from the park. It was not as crowded as I expected it to be for an holiday weekend. We got a perview of Paint the Night. I cannot wait for tomorrow.

MaiMai -- we arrived yesterday and I was also surprised that lines have been quick and, while crowded, it has not been nearly as bad as I was imagining it would be.

Friday night hit capacity but that was race arrival day and all passes were valid so anyone that found was packing in at DL for night entertainment.

Yesterday and today all but premier, Signature, Signature plus are blocked and yesterday was easy going at DL. While busy it was never insane, even after dinner at Carnation Cafe ended at around 8pm we were able to easily walk down the sidewalk towards Adventureland. We walked on ,LITERALLY WALKED ON Jungle Cruise , Pirates and Splash and still grabbed Indy FP at 8:20pm for 10:15-11:15pm.

We watched fireworks from ROA while no projections /nemo/Tinkerbell but music pipes in and there's bench seating in the form of concrete red brick lining the pathways and you can see all the fireworks great. We did notice this area was MUCH BUSIER than ever before but not a bad thing to help dispersed the crowds from the Main Street area. Was very emotional watching the fireworks the last time for us.
