Hi every one,
we had a fantastic time, or that should be a fantasmic time!:p
Went on Mission space -- very good, tamer than what I thought it would be.
Philarmagic was absolutely brilliant!
Still in the middle of unpacking , went with 2 suitcases, came home with FIVE:eek:
Seen a lot of signs for fish and chips around,:(
seem to cater for brits now.. or is it me ?? I would rather eat like the americans..

Welcome back - look forward to hearing more details once you have had a chance to recover from the jet lag.

::yes:: ::yes:: Absolutely. If I wanted to eat English food, I'd stay at home - that refers to anywhere in the world.

Netty - welcome home, glad you had a great time. Enjoy the unpacking (why does it always take such a lot less time and care than packing for going:( ).

Happy memories - looking forward to hearing more soon :wave2:

Glad you had a great time. We can't wait to try out all the new stuff later this month.

Welcome back Jeanette!!!

Well i'm nearly awake now ;)
We went with travel city on air atlanta, cabin staff great, food not, aircraft years old, couldn't see any films, only if you had an aisle seat :(
Villa was in glenbrook on highway 27, beautiful villa, shame about the building site we were on. We had 2 villas being built at the back of us and one next door. we were in a small cul-de-sac and the only ones there, as the other 3 villas to our right were empty(must of just been built  ) we felt like billy no mates.
I can't understand why we were put there.. TCD never again.
We were woken early to the sound of the workmen every morning, glad we were only there for one week.
Other than that , we had a great time, did all the wdw parks , they weren't that crowded, weather was very hot one day it was 97 degrees
Went to the gulf coast for last week, kids hated it , too bored after a week at disney!! so we went back to last 2 days, stayed at my sil's villa (chatham park) and then went back to magic kingdom on last day, which was also it's 32nd anniversary.

If shopping in winn dixie, ask for a reward card,it's free and you do get dollars knocked off your bill, we saved over 10 dollars on one trip.
We bought walkie talkies in wal- mart, only 9.97 each but what a god send they were, never lost any kids in the parks or spent ages looking for them in wal-mart :)

Wal - mart sell the theme park tickets for 264 inc tax for 5 day hopper plus, they have special offers on , our hoppers had 4 days added on instead of usual 2. disney is 286.50 inc tax for ordinary 5 day hopper.
any questions just fire away!!

Shame about the villa experience spoiling what sounds like a perfect holiday.

This was our first time with TCD, we have spoken to a few people about the villa lottery and will definately be booking direct next time to ensure we get somewhere clean and quiet.

We're looking around at prices at the moment, TCD may get the nod for the flights unless we can get Virgin for less than £400 each.

Couldn't agree more. When in Rome..............

Hi, I'm posting this with the agreement of Netty. I am the Accommodation Manager of TCD and following the worrying comments on this thread I made contact with Netty to find out exactly what happened.
Although it is unfortunate that she was placed adjacent to building work, we have contingency plans in place to deal immediately with such cases. Unfortunately, on this occasion no-one was informed that a problem existed and she suffered in silence for the whole week - and we were deprived of the opportunity to resolve the situation in a fair and speedy manner.
What I have agreed with Netty, is that if she wants to book a further Florida holiday with us (which she has indicated she wants to do in 2004), I will, as a goodwill gesture, agree to a 'pay one week-get one free' at a villa estate of her choice. I'm confident that we will be able to restore her faith in the system!
I am acutely aware that advertising is not allowed on this forum, but I feel it only fair that a response is allowed when a criticism is posted.
Thank you.

Welcome home, Netty. Sounds like you had a fab time. 5 suitcases! I thought we could shop, but I don't think we've ever come home with 3 more than we went with! ;)

Looking at the plus side of the villa issue - at least you were in a new one. Our very first villa experience was as part of a package and we had to ask to be moved because it was dirty and tired. We book independently now and tend to opt for new sub-divisions. Due to the way they develop the communities, we usually get some building work going on around us, but we're willing to put up with that for a newer property. And we're early risers, so we tend not to notice it too much.
