Let’s just say thing got messed up. Now my daughter can not fly out with us in the morning of the 9th of Nov. we found her a flight for the evening, but she will not arrive to MCO until 12 am. What’s the safest most reliable way to get her to pop century? Can Uber and lift drivers be trusted. Will she be safe. She is an adult (43)

Quickest and easiest would be to grab a taxi at MCO. It will be around $50-60. Exit the baggage claim, follow signs for taxi, and there will be an attendant who will direct you to the next cab. Usually there is no wait and you are on your way.

Imo taxis are just always easier when arriving at your destination than ordering an Uber (I use Uber when heading back to the airport).

As for safety I think it’s barely worth consideration. Just any normal precautions you would take traveling anywhere.

I take Uber/Lyft by myself late at night, never had an issue. She'll want to schedule the ride though, as it can take a bit longer for a driver to show up that late.

last time we traveled thru MCO at about that time it was bustling with activity, travelers, and the uber pickup area was the same as during the day.

Yes, she is perfectly safe
At that age, she should know all the proper precautions to use prior to getting in to the vehicle. As long as she follows them, all will be fine.

Can't schedule Uber/Lyft to pick you up at the airport --- or can you?

If it takes a bit longer for the plane to arrive then you will get charged as a no-show,

I'm not positive about the airport. But my cousin and her boyfriend regularly arrive in my city by train in the middle of the night, and they log into Uber to schedule the ride about 10 minutes before the train gets to the station for the time they expect to be off the train and ready to go. For a plane, that would be roughly equivalent to logging in after the plane touches down and scheduling for however long you think it'll take to grab your bags and get to the pickup point.

Call Mears and get their private car service. We had a driver take us from BWV to the Paul McCartney concert in May and he waited for us from 5 pm until the concert was over and we came out close to midnight. Our driver was waiting for us at BWV with a sign and then came to collect us when he saw us leaving the stadium after the concert.

He got us out of the crazy traffic jam and back to BWV safely. We set up the appointment ahead of time. I can't say enough about him and Mears. Worth every penny!
