Just curious what time you should arrive for an ADR?

For example: 8:30am ADR at akershaus, what time should we plan on arriving at Epcot? (Not sure how long the walk is)

Also, if we get to an ADR early, will we be seated? Most of our dinner reservations are at 5:30. Should we plan to arrive at 5:15?

Thanks!

It takes a good 10 minutes to walk to Akershus once you are through the tapstiles. I'd plan on arriving at Epcot around 7:45.

Generally Disney recommends that you arrive 15 minutes before your ADR. Arriving any earlier isn't likely to get you seated earlier, though. It depends on how busy they are. When very busy, they will usually tell you to come back closer to your ADR time.

YOu want to arrive at the restaurant 10 to 15 minutes prior to your ADR. Minnie Mum gave you the same time I would arrive at Epcot for an 8:30 ADR. You will want to walk and enjoy the relative calm in an empty Epcot.

We have an 8AM at BOG. The MK is nowhere near teh size of Epcot, and we plan to be at the turnstiles by 7:30 the latest.

Arriving early is never a guarantee of early seating. I have been seated early one time, and that was a gift! We had an ADR at the Coral Reef as part of the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. WE arived 30 minutes early for dinner and thought it was worth a try. Bingo! It was a good thing because as we were called in the backup had already begun, and it was crazy as we left dinner!

IT is more possible to be seated early the earlier you go--but no guarantee.

We've been seated early at WDW restaurants--and had to wait an hour at others.

Fashionably early--say 10 minutes or so--should be fine. IF you aren't seated early, won't be that long of a wait.

It's true, it really just depends. Some have let you in almost immediately, and others, think the more popular ones, you can get there early and then still not be let in until 15 or so after your ad time. If you want to try an early, just go with more non popular options.
