What is a reasonable timeline for your arrival day when flying into MCO?

Our flight is scheduled to land at 9:45am on July 4th. We are taking Magical Express to Kidani Village. What is a reasonable arrival time to the resort? What is a reasonable arrival time to the theme parks?

Given the holiday I know the parks may be experiencing phased closings which will factor into our planning. However, what about scheduling fast passes and lunch reservations? Is 1pm pushing it? Should we plan to eat at the hotel for lunch? What are your experiences on arrival day?

You should expect to get to your resort between 11:00 and 11:15. I would just do a counter service lunch at your resort. 1:00 would be the earliest I would schedule a FP for, but I think I would do 2:00 just to be safe.

Typically, 3 hours from landing to park arrival/first FP window start time. However, arriving on July 4th, I would add a bigger cushion to that. You will most likely encounter longer lines and wait times for all your transportation.

Is 90 mins the normal planning travel time from airport on DME????

Do you mean from landing to resort or actual time on the bus ride? The bus ride is about 40 minutes maybe a little more or less...Our bus this last trip departed just about 9 am and we were in our room at 9:45. We did online check-in, and got lucky and our room was ready upon check-in. We had landed the day before, though and stayed at the airport, returning the next morning for the DME, so I am not including time from landing to DME. (Outsmarted a blizzard and were able to get out a day early). Our previous trip we landed around 2:30 and had a FP for 6. We were checked in, dropped off carry on luggage, freshened up and in the park in time to grab dinner before the FP at 6.
