Arrival day decisions

I'm having trouble deciding what to do on arrival day. We (4 adults) are staying offsite and won't be able to check in until 4pm. There is a small possibility we can access the house sooner, right now no one has it rented for a couple of days before our stay, but that could change. Our flight is due into MCO at noon on Thursday 12/6. We only have entry into the parks, with park hoppers, Thurs, Fri, Sat, leaving at the crack of dawn on Sunday. The thought at this point is to go to Epcot on arrival day.

My problem is, I can't decide if we should wait and go to Epcot after getting into our house or if we should just go to Epcot and not worry about getting into our place until after Epcot, which will be after 10pm. If we wait, we could use the clubhouse and pool at the resort before having access to our house, but we wouldn't get to Epcot until at least 5pm. Our main focus at Epcot will be to ride Soarin, Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land, then head over to WS and take in some of the countries / maybe listen to some of Candlelight Processional.

That’s a tough decision. Maybe go straight to Epcot, then go back to get in the house, take a break, and head back to Epcot?

Personally, I would just head over to Epcot. If I were going to try and get in rides AND world showcase, I'd not want to feel rushed. It would be worth reaching out to the person renting to find out if there's any chance you can check in early, and if not is there somewhere you can store your luggage until the house is ready and then check in after you get back from the park.

We're offsite people, and drive down. More often than not, we don't arrive until 8pm-midnight, so we just go to the rental house. One trip, we arrived around 6pm and went straight to MK. Have to say I didn't enjoy it as much. I'd have preferred to go to the house first, unload our stuff, get comfy and then go.

If your only ride goals are Soarin', LwL and SE, those are all super easy. So if you arrive after 5pm, no big deal. If you want to go to the clubhouse first and chill, do it.
