I might be able to meet up with a friend of mine on our next trip. She wants to drink around WS. We both want to try a few new things, so what would you suggest we try? THNX

I hear Mexico is always a great place to start! Cheers! Just returned from my first girls weekend and we weren't as adventurous as we had hoped!

We have done this and it was quite fun.
We started with Tequila sampler at La Cava, ended with beers in Canada
Along the way we tried Sake in Japan.
Most of our choices were beer in the rest of the countries and we stopped for Pizza ( to absorb some of it) at Via Napoli

My wife and I love the pineapple margarita in Mexico. Give that a whirl.

Also order a Carl's combo at rose and crown. Trust me it's delicious.

The grapefruit beer in Germany is delicious and refreshing! And I second La Cava. Their margaritas were surprisingly strong

I agree with PP share the drinks or you aren't going to make it if you try every country. My son, DIL and I did this one year, there were times I'd have to skip a country because I just couldn't consume any more or just take a sip of what they were drinking. We also snacked around the world, same trip different day, again getting more than one thing and sharing. Again, I had to skip every once in awhile because it was just too much for me.
