After the usual mug filling routine we set off for MK. I discovered this morning that you really need to look at the time you can get a new FP.
We started the day on Pirates of the Caribbean, I then went and got a FP for BTMR. The return time was quite soon, so we went back and did the Jungle Cruise (wait time 20 mins.). The CM on the cruise wasnt very inspiring and sounded as if she was reading from a script. By the time we had come off the cruise it was time for our FP for BTMR. This also meant we could get another FP, so I went up to Haunted Mansion to get FPs for us all. When I got them I just happened to notice that the time I could get yet another FP was straight away! So, I went back and got FPs for Splash Mountain. I now had 3 lots of FPS in my hand!!
After using all our FPs on BTMR, Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain we were beginning to get a little hungry, so we headed over to Peco Bills for a burger. After a quick ride on the Flying Carpet ride we headed back towards Adventure land to get ready for the afternoon parade. We ended up standing near the Liberty Bell to watch the parade.
We were all a bit hot and bothered by the end of the parade so a nice swim was needed, so off we went back to POR for a nice paddle in the quiet pool.
We had not been in the pool for long before the black clouds were rolling over and the rumble of thunder could be heard in the distance time to get out of the water!
We were halfway back to the room when someone turned on the tap and the heavens opened! Once back safely in the room we checked the travel channel to see if the rain going to last very long and we were met with serious thunderstorm warnings, which included reports of very large hail stones (the size of dimes!). It seemed the storm was going to be with us all evening! We managed a sprint to the food court for dinner, but the rest of the evening was a complete washout.
