Armed Forces Salute Ticket Question

I have an Armed Forces Salute ticket that I purchased at the end of last year for a solo weekend trip. I got the 4 day hopper ticket. I only used two days. The other two days expire at the end of September of this year.

We are planning another WDW trip this summer. We may only do a couple days at WDW main parks since we want to do water parks, primarily. The rest of my family will be purchasing the Armed Forces Salute 4 day hopper PLUS water parks tickets for this trip, since it's the best deal even if we don't do 4 park days.

Can I "upgrade" my current ticket to add the water parks option? I don't really need a new ticket if I can do this, and it will save us about $150. I think the difference is like $28? Just wondering if it's possible.

I don't think you can upgrade Armed Forces tickets at all. But even if you could, you would have had to do it within I think 14 days of first use.

I know you can't upgrade them to add more days, or to annual passes or anything like that. However, this is just an upgrade to the OTHER Armed Forces Salute ticket option. The fine print doesn't say anything about this, so that is why I am asking.

Neither of those statements is true. Yes, you can add the Water Parks and more option at any time, up until when the tickets expire in September. You just can't add extra days-- wish we could!. The Military Salute tickets aren't tied in any way to the 14 day rule.

Thank you! This is what I thought, I just wanted someone else to confirm.

We are not planning to purchase our tickets until we get to WDW anyway, because our trip is not 100% set in stone right now. I will bring my old ticket and attempt to add the Water parks and more options at the time we purchase the rest of our tickets. If it's denied, I'll just buy another 4 day hopper plus water parks. I just don't want to leave my ticket at home if there is a chance I can upgrade it!

We are considering doing Legoland since they announced their military deal and that is why I don't think we will be doing even 4 days at the major parks. We are planning full days at the waterparks, and want to visit each one twice.

We all do, at one time or another, lol. I've used these tickets(to the absolute max) since the first year they came out-- we've done everything with them that it's possible to do!

I agree with AppleOrchard. The AFS tickets may be upgraded at any time to add the other option of Hopping or WPF&M which was not originally on the ticket. They can also be upgraded to Annual Passes.
