I know there is a lot of us who are having our pre reception at Martha's Vinard and reception at Ariel's at The Beach Club. I would love to hear some of your ideas for decoration, tables, and everything else that comes with this. Well I am having a Brunch. The pre reception will begin about 10:30 AM and will last about 1 hour. The violinist we are having at the ceremony will follow us to the reception. We are surving champagne and a lemonade punch. The decorations will be votives and rose pedals scattered about the tables. We are having a framed matt with a picture of us as our welcome book. When the guests enter the reception they will pass a table with chocolat mickey pretzels both for place cards and favors. We will also have a table with a card box both will be decorated with glitter and rose pedals. Our tables are all white linens and chair covers with purple bows around them. We made our own centerpieces wire coaches with beads and garland to sparkle them up. The will be surrounded by votives, rosepedals and glitter. We are providing napkin ring just for something extra. We are having a combination of both of the sample brunch menues that Beach Club catering offers. Our cake is marble with bailey's mousse.

I am at Ariels also with a brunch....I have not had my planning session yet so I am not sure about centerpieces, but how did you make your coaches? I am having a home reception also and am using pumpkins but do not have enough for all of the tables and thought about adding coaches ....what is your menu?

were having our prereception/cocktail hour at marthas vineyard. its really a nice venue on its own so were not doing much with decor. just some sprinkled rose petals im bringing with for the tables. at the entrance area were having one table with our signature mat, guestbook, picture frames with our engagement picture & 1 picture of our parents wedding, fils wedding & grandparents weddings. were also renting a tv & dvd to show a homemade slideshow of pictures of us growing up & dating, etc. were also carrying over the ceremony musicians to the prereception for 1 hour.

were having our sit down dinner & reception at ariels at 4. i just love the under sea theme & ambiance in this room. at the entrance to the left we have our placecard chart & our trunk gift card holder on a table with sprinkled gold chocolate coins. we also made our own centerpieces & saved a bundle. in the middle of each table will be a mirrow with stones/gems & the tables namesake ie mermaid sculpture for the table mermaid lagoon. on 2 sides of the mirrow we have glass bowls with shells inside & white candles to be lit. they look so great & elegant in person. we have small silver picture frames for placecard holders on each table with our guests names. i made our menus on the computer with nice silver lined paper. but i still havent decided on a favor, any ideas? were having lots of food at both dinner & the prereception ie pierogi, crab cakes, canadian bacon cheddar soup, chicken scampi for the intermezzo, oak grilled beef tenderloin, etc. were have the coral & shells cake with chocolate cake & chocolate mousse and vanilla cake with white chocolate mousse & strawberries. the cake will be on the lower area near the china cabinet in the middle with 2 guest tables to each side. were having our dessert party at the uk after ariels. we have blue cylinders with fish on them & candles inside for the tables there.

i cant wait, its getting so exciting we leave for wdw in 36 days! im getting married, ahh
