Ariel's menu

Just got the big menu for Ariels (which is buffet only). However, I confirmed with my WP that the buffet is for a minimum of 50 guests (when we're only expecting 40). She said we will have to do some "finessing" of the price.

Has anyone come across this? I guess this might mean we will have to pay more per person??

Dont know for sure what she means, I'd ask her to clarify...I know we paid for two invisible children to meet our 100 people minimum at AA, but that was just two (basically 40 dollars)…I cant see paying for ten that aren’t there

Also, since I'm new at look at these menus...

The buffets start at $65-$70 per person (plus the 20% service charge and 6.5% tax). Can they actually mean they expect most people to eat $65 worth of food?

not sure if things have changed that much but i had a sit down dinner at ariels this march for our custom wedding.

as for the pricing thats just the cost associated with that menu. typically food costs at most receptions whether disney or elsewhere is exaggerated. our dinner (soup, salad, pasta & entree) was around $85pp. but it was also delicious.
