Hi,

We plan to dine at Ariel's Grotto at DCA next week. I called Disney dining twice for priority seating (had to change the time) and got different dinner prices each time. First, 30 something / 20 something for adult/kid and then $45/$25 including tax and tips.

Then, I just learned that Ares travel sells meal tickets for $33/$18. So I'm all confused now.

What are the actual prices and where can I get the best deal?

Thanks!

I know that they do raise the prices during peak travel times. So, it is possible that the first time you were quoted the "normal/off-peak" price and the second time you were quoted the "peak" price. Meal vouchers for the character meals are the way to go if you are traveling during the peak season. There is info on it at mousesavers.com (link here: http://www.mousesavers.com/dlmeals.html#mealvouchers). We bought our vouchers through AAA with our package and it was $116 (for 3 adults and 1 kid).

I purchased my meal vouchers through Ares travel after researching pricing options. I got my tickets for 3 adults and 1 child for $122.00 including tax and some other type of fee. I printed off the voucher and will take it to the ticket booth. I thought they offered the better prices.
