Ariel character Lunch

I was told last year by guest services (at both beach club and the pop) that there were NO character meals that featured Ariel. She used to show up once in a while at beach club for special events but her fin suffered for it and she no longer had legs. hmm...

So now I read that Ariel shows up for Lunch at the Princess Lunchtime meal in Norway in World Showcase/Epcot.

So help me out, if you have seen Ariel in Norway or not please report (people there in 2006 please) - I would hate to disappoint a little girl who is obsessed with Ariel by getting her hopes up.

In December 2005 she was at the Norway Princess breakfast. She was the greeter and my little girl's favorite princess. Pictures were taken during that greeting. I hope that helps.

We saw Ariel at lunch in May and in October. Your party will be directed to her before you are seated at your table. She has legs and wears a pale green dress. A photographer will take your picture and then bring a photo package available for purchase to your table while you are eating.

Sometimes she's at lunch, sometime she's at dinner. I've walked past Askerhaus to ride Maelstrom at dinnertime and have seen her through the windows. I believe she alternates with Belle in her ballgown, but as always, no princess is ever guaranteed to be at your meal, so its a roll of the dice!

She was in her greenish/blue dress for pictures back in March at lunch. Dind't get our picture though, the line was too long.

She was there on 9/19/05 (DD 6th birthday) for lunch. Also making an appearance were: Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, and Aurora. Her dress was beautiful.

It's not a meal but you can always find her at Ariel's Grotto in the MK for a great photo op.

When we booked our Norway meal (dinner), the CM read off a little list of "provisos, quid pro quo's", including "you are never guaranteed to see any specific princess" of course, but one of them is "if ariel is there she will not be in a tail, she will be walking, so she can better circulate the tables". So they did make a specific note to mention Ariel possibly being at the meal.

We saw Ariel at lunch in January and she was wonderful! She kissed DS's cheek and left kiss mark and all the princesses followed. When we saw her in the grotto 2 days later (same CM), she remembered my kids and asked if they had a good time at lunch with her princess friends! It was magical!
