Getting disheartened as none of the restaurants we would like to eat at have any availability for a normal dining time (ie 11-3) and 5-8. Any suggestions on what to do, they even looked to split our group up and it still didn't work. I don't want to eat counter service the whole time, yuck! What do you think about calling the morning of? Would I have any luck? Help!
We're there Oct 22-29

I had some trouble with this too, I booked for a group of 16. We did lots of TS places, but we either had to be the first seating of the day or the last, no in between. We also had to go through group services because we had more than 10, maybe they could help or have you already talked to them?

You need to go through group dining for 10 or more. I made a res for 18 in April and they handled it.

Didn't know there was a service for group of 11-can someone help me with the number?

I have been on the phones all week making ressies for 17 all over the "WORLD". Sometimes they will transfer you over to group sales and sometimes they will make the reservation for you. Some phone numbers that work are:

1-407-939-3463 (WDW DINE)
1-407-939-7707 (Group Sales)
1-877-939-3732 (Toll Free)
1-800-828-0228 (Toll Free)

The WDW Dine and Toll Free numbers should either make the ressies for you or transfer you over to group sales.

Hope this helps.

Heck, you think YOU had problems with 11........I had to make a ressie for this trip for ** 43 ** (42 adults/1child)

:goodvibes

We booked through the WDW-dine #...for a group of 11-12 durring October 19-22....But we booked them right at our 90 day + 10 ADR time....The only one I had trouble getting was CRT for early breakfast (well any breakfast-lunch time on any days).

I'd try the group dinning....but I've found ALOT of restraunts have a hard time actually moving tables to hold large groups UNLESS you eat at the "off" times...like early or late.

There were also a couple places we had to split our tables and have 6 and 6....but I figured that's okay...we don't have to be together ALL the time.

What places were you hoping to get? It's to bad your arriving on the 22nd...because we have one or two places that we've been going back and forth on canceling on the 20th and 21st.

Thanks for the numbers! I'll give it another shot. That's sweet of you to think of us with your cancelations

I had a group of 12 last year during XMAS week, and the only place we had to go through group dining was for Garden Grille (not that we'd want to go there now with the menu change!). I don't think group dining will be able to help you out, but it's worth a shot. We were able to get every place we wanted, but I did call at exactly 90 days out, and we were wanting the first seating for lunch at most places.

I think some of the places open up the early seating times as the date gets closer (Sci-Fi specifically comes to mind), so if you can find out when they open the early seating, this might help you.

I've been told on more than one occasion that group dining handles groups of 13 or more. Has this changed to 10?

And last year during the hurricanes, I couldn't even make PS's because the group # was down/closed, and the regular dining line would not make my PS because I had 13 in my party. They wouldn't even split my party.
