I hate, no, HATE voicemail systems that don't allow you to speak to a person.

Press "1" for this, "2" for that. Drat! I went through your stupid system three times already. I need a human being! That recording isn't telling me what I need to know.

Push 77 to hear our bank mascot, Mr. Squeeze-Out-Your-Money-As-If-It-Were-Blood Sparky, recite his pledge: "If we can find a way to charge you a fine, we'll deliver!" ... Push 103 to find out why our tellers will be replaced with robots who spew your cash through their mouths. ... There was a commercial on the radio this morning, it was so fuunny, it was a guy calling a company (can't remember what kind) but he was having SO much trouble "Press 8 if you are a gemini" kind of stuff, and all of the sudden "Press 9 to speak to the C.E.O." And the guy couldn't believe it and it worked and the CEO said he's stop buy to check out his problem. I think the point was about about being that lucky or something, but I don't remember.

Well THAT was a pointless rambling! LOL

I always try pressing ) they most of the times takes me to an operator, yah, a live voice.

I am not fond of these things either
The first thing I try is pressing 0 (even if its not an option). Half the time that gets me connected to an operator. The other thing I do is press nothing at all, that saometimes convinces the phone system that I have a rotery phone and I cant select an option, so it connects to an operator.

Its always fun when I call to check on one of my credit cards...
"Please enter your 157 digit credit card number now. If you make a mistake (which you almost certainly will), press pound and start again. When you finally decide there that it is nearly impossible to enter that long a number with out making a mistake, please hang up and ponder the folishness of calling us for information in the first place."

So do I and then when you finally do get a person you get cut off!!!
