Just looked up Orlando weather and for the days I am going to be there, rain rain rain, oh wait, tomorrow only cloudy. I am not excited about this trip because of my dad passing away and my brother said "Go, the sun and heat will help you, just relax" Oh well, life can throw a curve ball at times and this is a time for me

Actually, if you really look at it, you have one day where there's a 70% chance of rain. The rest of the time is 30%, which is not huge.

We just got back Saturday, and our weather forecast looked much the same as yours before we left, with most days showing a 30%-40% chance of rain. Apart from the 15 hours or so that Wilma was blowing around, we actually had lovely weather.

Every year when we go in Sept. there is always a chance for rain and it does rain many times, but it's just a passing shower.

Don't let the weather reports get you down - even when the weather isn't great, you're still at the happiesnt place on earth

Also, I wanted to give you my sympathies for your dad dying - many hugs to you

This is for Tampa but they get pretty much the same weather as Orlando. Honestly, the weather people down here are OK with predicting what's going to happen up to 24 hours out. After that, let's just say, your guess is as good as their's.

Just carry a poncho with you and you should be fine.

Gail I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father...
I hope the weather brings a little healing to you during this difficult time and they are just passing showers (which would be good to keep people out of the parks right!)

The weather forecasts almost always look horrible when we head to Florida...and they are usually wrong. It's called the Sunshine state for a reason.
