ARES Travel Ticket Question

Hi everyone,

I'm a Disneyland first timer with several years of WDW experience. I purchased my tickets from ARES Travel, and I want to know if I should expect any surprises when I go to redeem my tickets. I am arriving in Anaheim on 7/3 and going to the parks 7/4-7/7. My plan is to walk to the ticket office at Disneyland and redeem my tickets on 7/3 in the evening, so I don't have to go through that hassle the following morning. Is there anything I should know or any issues I should be ready for with these tickets? When I have used the MouseSavers newsletter in the past for WDW tickets, I was literally sent valid theme park passes. This is a little different, and while I am not concerned about the legitimacy of the tickets, I just want to make sure I can get my tickets without issue. Can someone with ARES experience please let me know if this is a smooth process? Thanks everyone!

I've never had a problem with Ares vouchers. Just take your voucher to the ticket booth and they'll give you your passes. I always do it the evening before our first park day as well. Make sure to have photo ID and it should all go smoothly for you.

We used Ares vouchers on our April trip. There were no issues whatsoever.

Just be sure to print out the voucher prior to leaving home, as there is no guarantee the hotel will print it for you. You will need the printout to redeem the voucher at the ticket counter.

We also redeemed it the night before, and the line was significantly shorter. You can also ask for "First visit" buttons at the ticket counter.

Have a great trip!

Also, take the time to print out all the names of the people in your party. The ticket agent will write individual names on each ticket. Having the names written helps the process go faster.

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. I appreciate your feedback and can't wait for my trip!

Oh, and take pictures of the back of your tickets with the scan number. It will come in most handy if a ticket gets lot. Not saying that his has happened to me or anything, but better safe than sorry. :rolleyes1

Haha, yes I did this with the tickets I received from Undercover Tourist for WDW as well. Thanks for the tip.
