Where can I get one cheap or a knock off of this? it would be so cool for my tiny basement (no natural light) bedroom!

I don't know about a knock off, but if you keep an eye on (or subscribe to their emails) the aerogarden site they have decent clearance off and on. I've also seen them listed on craigslist once or twice. We got ours on eBay. You may have to keep an eye out for an individual selling one there... most are an eBay store and not as good of a savings...
