I reckon this is permanent. But we're just not big or bad enough to need a whole team!!

Why do you think it's permanent Becky? I think that's quite insulting if so - we need to know our mod and, as has been said before, we need someone who loves DLP and who contributes regularly to the life of the board. Help us out here Karen please!!

I suppose because most of the other boards had their mods sorted out a few days ago. We had no one "assigned" to us, they've had time to think about it and now we have been given the DMT!!!

I suppose one way of looking at it is that we are so nice and well-behaved on here that they think we can look after ourselves!

Well, we can Elaine, as was proved a bit back scared1: ) but the fact remains that it would feel to me (and I may be in a minority of one here) that we were being treated like the poor relations in that case and not worthy of a "real" moderator. There are plenty of contributors to this board who are extremely conscientious and committed to DLP and to "our" board and who would do a great job, as Karen has done. Well, we'll have to wait and see before we start haranguing the DMT with petitions!!! (DMT - if you are reading this - we love you really - grovel! grovel!!!)

If it's any consolation Di, a few other boards are in the same boat. I think the Canadian board have also change from being moderated by a familiar name, to being moderated by the DMT.

Which probably means that it will take a good few weeks while all the changes are rolled out.
I'm sure Elaine will make next months quiz challenging that will keep us all out of mischief

Only existing mods have been moved around....no new mods have been introduced to any board yet.

Yes, The DLP Board isn't the only one looking for new mods, look at Orlando Hotels and Attractions, Canadian Trip Planning & Community Board, UK DVC Discussion, Sea World / Discovery Cove, In Memoriam, DIS Meets, Just Say Thanks and Disney Rewards Programs.

New moderaters are currently being selected and all boards will be advised shortly.

Okay - thanks for the info Kaylee! I had noticed that quite a few other boards were also being moderated by the DMT and I just thought that was the outcome for the smaller boards in all this change around. Wasn't surprised when the same thing happened to us, but like everyone here I would rather be moderated by somebody I know - so your information sounds very welcome.
