omg! my teachers are insane! they give hours of homework each night its so ridiculous. they think homework is our whole life or sumthing. ahh! does anybody else feel like this? i just needed to vent :)

yeah i do, every nite i have atleast an hour of home work.My history teacher is so stupid..everynite he makes us read a new section in the book and then the next day all he does is discuss it...never any paper work it is sooo boring!so i have to lugg home that book every nite..but most nites i have a reading assignment in history and language arts and i usually have math work to do...i hate it when teachers dont give out hw or any assignments in class so your grade depends on your test scores which is a lot of pressure for some kids..i have to study really hard for them.

Samster, school is just too out of control! I have so many tests and quizzes coming up...AHH! ::sigh::...but it's not too long until we have a few days off...

next week is spirit week at my school..most of the teachers ease up on the hw, my insane math teacher who looks like an over weight dinosaur or something already has out hw planed. we have to write a summary of a different chapter every night and then do a thousand questions. ahh!!!!

Sorry, that must not be fun having a lot of homework every night. I actually don't get that much homework, but that must be because I take less classes. But in 7th grade, I had the stupidest English teacher. We had to have our own notebook for her class with like 10 sections in it, and just in her class we got about 2 hours of homework everyday! Essays that I (and my parents!) thought were A quality, only turned out being a 60 or 70. That was the only year I have ever done bad in school and I would like to forget that year.

you complain about having to much homework but yer on here...Maybe you should do it instead?

Like someone said before, lets all play nice :)

And, in my opinion, those are bad words, and like Daniel said before too, younger kids read what's going on here, and maybe their parents don't want them exposed to it.

Anyway (I can't type for beans b/c I just carried 22lbs. worth of entertainment books, and who knows how much in my backpack!)

I had so much h.w this week!! But I have no hw over the weekend, except record all the things I eat.

I know this is off topic, but we were taking a really hard chapter test in bio today and the kid next to me something with crap in it, and the teacher was just staring at him because he just yelled it out and the room was quiet. And (even more off topic) in Hey Arnold, they're supposed to be in 4th grade, and they say crap and stuff, and then they go on the subway at night!! They even said, sun goes down, stay above ground. *sigh* they really should be in like 6th or 8th grade. Oh well. :)

LOL kiki! I know rite, that show needs to be fixed! they could like jump them to 8th or 9th grade, then it would be ok..not 4th! :D

I know what you mean...everyday of the week so far ive had to type out a report for a different subject.

I have been sooo busy!! I thought this weekend I might be able to relax, since last weekend I took the PSATs and then was at a Model United Nations (MUN) conference (like debate) for the rest of the weekend - til 9 on Sat. night and then 8-4 on Sunday! Then I had homework! Not to mention it was homecoming weekend!
But I was WRONG about time off! LoL. This weekend I have to:

Spanish -
reg. homework (worksheet)
work on CPR project (Cultural Participation and Research) worth 10% of our grade!
World History/MUN -
Interactive Notebook work! I have like 15 pages to fill with things relating to the info we have been studying - like rewriting notes, making charts, etc
Study for next test on Tuesday
Rewrite paper on China-Georgia relations and research for upcoming conference
Study rules relating to chairing (being in charge) of a conference
AP Bio -
Read Chapter 8-9 (like 100 pages! ugh!)
as well as definitions and questions for 8-9 (70 def for each and 20 questions in paragraph form!!)
Study for quiz on Tuesday
Algebra 2:
word problems! ugh! lol
English:
read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (we just had to read 50 pages over the last two nights, now we have 50 more!)
Read my outside reading book and do a project on it! - due Friday!

I know you all probably didn't want to read all my homework lol, but I had to get it all out and vent to someone!! Arrgh..this is my time off for the weekend, right now lol.
