I'm on the wait list for the 3bdrm villa at BWV Feb 14-19. We already have BCV 2bedrm dedicated but would like to upgrade. I don't think our chances are very good. The more owners the less chance.

We have a waitlist in during that time. My db and his family decided last month that they wanted to join us at WDW over Feb. vacation. We were able to get them a half points/ half member discount reservation, but we're still waitlisted everywhere...

Sometimes there is quite a bit of waitlist action at the 31-32 day mark. Those who aren't 100% sure of their plans will cancel at that time to avoid having points go into the holding account. So there is still hope.

Those of you who want to stay on a waitlist past the 30 day mark should call MS and make sure that is how your waitlists are set up. Most waitlists are set to expire at the 31 day mark.

All waitlists expire at the 7 day mark so at that point, if you still want what you want, you'll have to call and hope to get lucky. Some will call daily (or even more frequently) once the 7 day mark arrives.

We had a waitlist for a SV come through just a week prior to arrival last October (during Food & Wine Festival time), so you can get lucky!

The BWV has studios and 1 bedrooms available 2/15-2/20. Must be there are no studio lock offs available? There aren't any dedicated 2 bedrooms, right?

Just checked again - nothing. BCV does have a studio though.

Because cash and DVC are not the same inventory! It stinks but oh well...I did manage to snag 8 nights in a BWV Standard studio at the 7 month mark for August so that is cool!
BTW-we are staying at BCV in a studio Feb 7-15.

Correct. The BWV have no dedicated 2 bedroom units. All are lock offs.

I canceled a preferred view BWV 2 bedroom for Feb 15, 3nights a couple of days ago. Someone got a waitlist request. Friends of ours had to cancel.

It will expire 7 days before arrival. We get told to call everyday after that to see if anything comes available then with in those 7 days. I'll even call when I'm on the plane headed there. LOLOL
