Are you trying to loss 10 pounds before you go

I have been trying to lose the same 10-20 pounds for years now. I recently have begun Medifast. Two of my friends have been doing this for 12 weeks now and both are down about 30 pounds each. I have been doing it for 3 weeks now and am down 8. So, would like to lose 10 more pounds. Is going much slower for me then it is for them - seems the weight is just dropping off of them. But, trying to be patient. It is not cheap and not the most fun way of eating but I have not seen the scale move in a long time. Have done WW in the past and last time I did this it took me 2 months to lose 5 pounds. So, trying to stick this out for another 3-4 weeks and hopefully should be close to goal. Then I really just need to focus on eating better and not so much junk.

Here is what worked for me. I wanted to be under 200 for my trip in November. So I joined Weight Watchers online and it really worked for me. It helped me learn better portion control and better eating habits. I stopped using it after my 3 month subscription and have continued to lose weight. I did it without really working out. For me it was all about diet and eating better. I am down 25 pounds and hope to keep going. I am a little worried about the dining plan because I have a tendency to go crazy on vacation but I hope to keep to some good habits but still enjoy the food. Good luck to those out there trying. It can be done!

Congratulations OP and others.

Hope you can shift those final pounds...they are the hardest to loose :rolleyes1:woohoo:

In Disney, we eat about like we do at home, but throw in a Mickey Bar and a few soft drinks a day. We do so much walking, I have NEVER gained weight there. It is worth watching what you eat before the trip to add a few extras like Mickey bars and desserts!

I've lost 17 lbs so far since starting on SENSA back in April. WDW wasn't the motivator, but it will be nice being in better shape that our visit last year.

We have lost about 40lbs combined. We don't want to poop out on our eating excursion. We have been working our butts off to get in shape. My wife has been training for a triathalon on 9/23, I have been trying to match her and try to as be as sexy. We r celebrating our 10 yr anniversary on 10/1-10/11. All food and wine, no kids , no commercials, no mercy.

How did u know?? I actually lost 80 lbs with WW, quit in June and signed up today. 10 is my goal.

I spoke too soon. I should know better than to post about my weight on weigh-in day before I actually weigh in.

I'm now down 84 lbs with 7 left to go to where I'd like to be for my wedding/WDW honeymoon.

When is the big day for you to start the Honeymoom at WDW . We hope that this all goes well and that you are both happy for many years to come ... You can make it to your goal , dropping the pounds can be done . :cool1: :wave2:

I wanted to loose 20, I've lost 12, and will be happy with 15. I set my goals small, I only want to loose 5 lbs, and when I've done that I just want to loose 5 more. It helped alot by taking small steps instead of trying to tackle all 20 at once. I would also reward myself only after I've lost a few pounds I could eat something I really liked, but not alot of it. I originally lost 35 pounds doing the subway diet, it really does work. Then I gained 20 of it back. Good luck everyone.

Today was my goal day (for this goal...do it in small increments)...and I made my goal!!! Lost 5 lbs this past 2 weeks! So, goal is 5 more for the next 2 weeks! I have 17 more to my long-term goal before vaca. And, 27 more to my really long-term goal hopefully by the end of February! (And, that will change to include what I gain at WDW!)

Congrats to all doing it and keep the hard work everyone!
