Are you scheduled for pirate and pals fireworks Nov 17?

We are, but I know Wishes is not scheduled due to a private event, not a party night. I've been expecting a cancellation call but nothing yet. Curious if any others have heard anything.

I have been calling trying to get a reservation for this day(still nothing) and have been told there are cruises going out that day. I questioned more than one CM about this and have spoken to guest relations about it when I called concerning another issue and they all have said that the cruise is on. So it sounds good. Have fun!

Maybe they are still showing Wishes for the private party. The park closes to the public at 7. We loved this cruise - Enjoy!

That (or some kind of special fireworks show) is often the case during major private parties at MK.

The TIME of the fireworks can vary from the norm, however.

True, Robo, if I were the OP I would call myself and confirm that my cruise was still on (sometimes they don't notify about changes as soon as we would appreciate being notified) - and I would double check that the time hasn't changed - if it's on and at the same time, I would assume that you are watching the Wishes being shown at the private party - they wouldn't charge for and run the cruise without the fireworks. PS: there is not a bad seat on the boat - you can see everything even from the opposite side (at least I could).

I am planning to cancel if you would like to coordinate. We have a reservation for 5 or 6 (one is under 3 and I can't remember if they counted as a spot).

I have called, a couple times actually. The problem I am having is that they can't actually tell me fireworks are happening. They don't show them scheduled. But they do tell me they have the cruise scheduled and it wouldn't happen without fireworks. So then I say, ok so the fireworks are scheduled and they say, I'm not showing them but... and it just goes in a circle!
I'm just not comfortable with that answer. We had a BOG dinner scheduled that same night which Disney called and cancelled (they were great though and got us in another night). So I'm nervous about it being cancelled and ruining our plans for our Pirate Day. Instead, we decided to switch plans and use those funds to buy party tickets for another night. For about the same price we can have 8 park hours. I still have the cruise on a wishlist for a future trip though!

Geez - I totally understand your frustration, isn't it crazy that they cannot simply confirm this kind of information?! As much as we enjoyed the cruise, I would also gladly trade it for a party night - good choice!
