i love the idea of a welcome gift but not sure i'll be able to afford it!

as for putting them in the guest rooms, I have heard you can leave if with the front desk and have them give it to your guests as they check in. I am not sure if they can deliver before hand, but I am sure it can be arranged, just inquire with the resorts or your event coordinator.

we gave all our guests welcome bags with misc. items inside including a card welcoming them & a itiniary of events, snacks like pretzels & muffins, water bottles, wedding themed candles, shells, a prestamped postcard, etc. we brought them to the resorts & they were handed out as they checked in. i also had the welcome bag noted on each reservation.

like cinderella16 mentioned they are a few similiar threads with ideas & photos too.

Welcome bags got cut from our budget...we priced them from 5 to 25 dollars a bag depending what was inside..turned out to have way to many guests and couldnt draw the line of family only for the bags...so they got cut...
but its such a sweet idea

We decided not to do any kind of welcome bag or gift. It is such an awesome thing to do, but we are expecting between 75-100 guests and it would just cost too much. We are just putting some of the money we would have spent for welcome gifts and doing an Illuminations dessert party. Hopefully that will create a nice enough memory for our guests that they won't notice they don't have welcome bag.
