Be warned - they are changing their scheme later this year. Airmiles will be called Avios - flights to Paris will cost more.

At present flights to Paris cost 750 Airmiles.

When the change comes they will multiply your Airmiles by 10 and call them Avios. So if you had 750 miles you will now have 7500 Avios.

BUT you no longer have enough for a free flight - because under the new scheme the cost is 9000 Avios PLUS £27

I know I have no new trips booked or planned, ;) but I wanted to warn anyone who is squirreling away their Clubcard points from Tesco to buy flights to Paris - DO IT SOON BEFORE THE CHANGE!

BTW - the cost is even worse for long haul flights, so if your saving for Florida you have to pay ALL the taxes and fees. :scared1:

This may actually work better for me as I fly from a regional airport and normally pay more than 750 airmiles for my flight to Paris, 1250 airmiles from Southampton.

Not a lot of detail on their website yet, but I hope that we can still use them towards Disney hotels!! :thumbsup2
