We went on the Christmas tour and it was incredible. You are given a tour around the park and told different ways that Christmas is celebrated around the world. Also, you get to sample the pumpkin fudge. At the end of the tour, you get a cookie, hot cocoa in a Holiday mug and special VIP seats to watch the Christmas parade!! Loved it!

I'm getting more and more excited! Fantasmic now has at least a 9 PM show in the first two weekends in December. Hopefully they'll add on a 10:30, but even if they don't, I'm looking forward to seeing Murphy!

Plane tickets are purchased and hotel reservations are made! We will be staying at Hojo's kid suite December 12-17 with the entertainment rate. Have never stayed at Hojo's and absolutely can't wait!!!! We'll be coming from South Dakota to celebrate me adopting my second son.

I need to update my info a bit.....we are changing our dates to Dec 12-17 staying at the Peacock instead of the HoJo (got some bonus points so we are using them for Dec, saves us some $$!). So we added a day and changed hotels.

I am hoping that we will be able to do at least a day trip over the Christmas Holiday so that we can take in all the decorations as nobody does Christmas like Disney.
Do you think that we would be asking for it if we decided to go on Christmas day???
We have been AP holders for years and have never been on Christmas day so we are talking about it and may just do it.

So, we are confirmed flying in to San Diego Friday 11th am and flying back out Monday morning 14th (I know, short trip). Everyone else in our group has fallen out of the DL one day trip so I can pretty much pick either 12/12 or 12/13. For all of you vets, which is better? A Sat or a Sun?

I've found Sundays to be a bit less crowded, however, I recall some shows on Saturdays were not performed on Sundays.

I am actually attempting ('attempting' being the operative word) to rally the troops for a short DLR the same exact weekend you will be there, GraceLuvsWDW (and Pixiewings71, too!!)! I am not sure if we will go into the parks on both the 12th and the 13th or just a frenzied, chaotic, rushed trip on the 12th, but that is the weekend I am aiming for! Maybe I will see you there (that is...if my plans don't change, which they inevitably will)!
