Me & df have had two this week!

These are the first two we have ever had on our house. We have had the week off work so after cleaning up the yard we were good to go.

We had a practice one on Wednesday with just the two of us then this afternoon we had a couple of friends over.

It has been gorgeous all day in Goole so we had a great time listening to the radio laughing at everyone else stuck at work!

No BBQ for us either ~ Going out for a meal tomorrow night and then off to see the X-Men movie.

DH said last night that we should have a BBQ today if the weather held. We are in NI, though, and we have had 2 rain-free days now so it can't last much longer. Fingers crossed because I love BBQ. The only downer is, to me, a barbie is just not the same without a lovely, crusty french stick and I am sticking rigidly to my diet this week so that's out So, it will just be jacket potatoes and probably steak and chicken for us.

We'll be having a BBQ tonight and tomorrow but then we BBQ most weekends from about May - even if it rains we cook under an old, very large parasol!

My favourite things are corn on the cob and bacon but I also do a mean spicey chicken kebab.

i cheated this lunchtime, i took the kids to the nags head pub and sat outside and had a meal with them and they played outside for a bit. it was lovely
