I am debating it now. Last time I dressed up I was in 6th grade, and I dressed up as a cowgirl. That was about 17 years ago. Wow. I just realized how long ago that really is.

Anyway, we are invited to a Halloween party this year, so I'm thinking about dressing up. As what I'm not sure yet. I was thinking maybe a 'cute' witch or red riding hood. Is anyone else here going to dress up?

I hope so. My DS is going to be a fireman :firefight so I thought I might be a dalmatian or fire hydrant to match. My DH is going to be a burning building. Marthastewart.com had some really great and easy costumes for both adults and kids.

I dress up every year to take my sis trick or treating. This year I'm gonna be a witch

My brother lives in a castle and has a huge Halloween party every year. If we go we'll be dressing up - it's mandantory to get in. We were looking at costumes online today...The last time we went, we did the Renaissance theme to go with the castle, but this year if we do it, I think we'll go scary. I found an elegant madam ghost outfit I liked and DH wants to go as a ringwraith. So we'll see...

Not sure, but may go as the wicked witch of the west......my daughter assures me it will be perfect!!!! :confused3

:rotfl2:

I go even though im 14. Lol. Love it to much.. I am being a pirate. pirate:

Never too old for halloween (I'm 21!). Probably going to be a witch or a cat... something just simple, and doesn't require a lot of thought.

I made a "poodle" skirt last year and dressed up as a 50s girl..but with a twist. The skirt was black with sparkly glitter....and instead of a poodle, i have a pumpkin patch. I wear it with an orange shirt.

I still have it--so my girls will probably insist I wear it again. I had made it for MNSSHP last year. I met one person who had a very similar idea--only she had villains on her skirt. It was either part of the fabric or appliques--but it was along the entire lower portion of the skirt (along the hem).

Where I work, we dress up every year, with prizes for the best costumes. I love Halloween. This year I'm planning on being a Hawaiian girl. Work sent me there on a trip this past summer, so its sort of a theme with me. Easy too, since I have a dress and leis and stuff.

I am dressing up. I do almost every year. I love halloween!!!

If I had to dress up as something, assuming I am going to an adult party...I would be a "Shot Nurse". Wear some scrubs, shot glasses (disposable), limes, salt and a bottle of Tequila.

Dh and I always have a Halloween party to go to that a friend throws every year.
This year we are thinking of being Snow White and Dopey. But for fun DH will be Snow White and I will be Dopey. :goodvibes

Nope.:teeth: My work usually has a dress up contest, but I'm not creative enough to even try.:p Or rather I choose not to be creative enough to even try.;)

I'm going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz! Just have to find a pair of red heels to glitter spray them. The baby is going to be a big fat pumpkin!

I know a way you can win. You wear all black and you get those little 1 serving cereal boxes. You take the cereal out and you keep the box. Get plastic spoons and stick the spoons through the boxes. Fix the boxes the black shirt. You are now a Cereal Killer. ;)

I've always dressed up just for handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters, and now that I have a child that trick-or-treats, it is even more fun to dress out to go with him. I was a black cat last year, and my son wants me to be that again, so I probably will.

A coworker of mine did that last year. He'd think I was copying him.:p Plus, he didn't win. Another coworker dressed up as a Fortune Telling machine. She made fortune cookies to hand out after the fortune was told. I can't wait to see what she is this year. She scared me half to death last year.:p

Well, it's official, am am Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. :cool1:

I went to Party City today, thought for sure I was gonna be a pirate. But it was sold out. So I tried on one of the witch outfits, it was nice and it fit well, but I just wasn't crazy about being a witch. So I tried this other pirate one, but they only had a large left and it was too big. So I decided, let me try the red riding hood one, it was my first thought after all...and that's what I left with!

Now, to get DH to be the Big Bad Wolf... :teeth:
