Are you going to cancel your Thanksgiving Res.?

If you are going to cancel your Nov. Thanksgiving reservation it would be great if you could help us out by letting me know via PM and if possible we try to corrdinate the time. We are trying to exchange in through DVC and the dates would be Nov 21st through Nov 29th. We are looking for a Full Hookup site. By the way I've been calling every day for about a month now and I'm trying something new...

We tried getting 11/26-28 starting in January... no luck. I checked every day for a couple of months and finally gave up (we ended up moving everything forward a week).

I'm not cancelling one (heck, I'm trying to make another for the same dates), but I will tell you that last year, after calling twice a day starting in August, I got the last of the T'giving week dates I needed around October 25. I got most of the days one by one and I think Wednesday night was the last one I got. A lot of people reserve the holidays in the hope they'll be able to go, and then they cancel, so don't give up - there's still time!

I have been trying since March for 11/26 to 11/29 and finally got it on October 10th but had to reserve the night of the 11/29 deparing on 11/30 or the online system would not let me make the resevation so I tried calling to add onto my reservation and they said nothing was available as I was looking at it on my computer. I just booked it on line and now have to call and cancel the night of 11/29. I would make any reservation you can get starting with the easy dates of 11/21 to 11/26 and keep trying from there adding the dates 1 by 1 if you have too(been there, done that). Also I would take any reservation even if it is not the full hookup you want and just keep calling to see if you can switch. You will pay more for a premium or prefered but at least you will be somewhere. Good luck!
