:rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: are you married to me??!! :lmao: :lmao:

i'm giving up sweets and swearing! (exception on 3/8-my b-day, and i WILL have my cake!) :woohoo:
also, started a new workout program this morning....gotta stick with it!! :thumbsup2

I'd say alcohol, but that would be cheating as I'm not allowed alcohol for 6-8 months anyways, doctor's orders.

Mine's kind of a combination--I'm giving up eating out, and I'm putting the money aside to donate somewhere at Easter.

I actually decided that I am going back to Weight Watchers for lent, so I guess I am giving up my weight!

Well, I decided to do something this year that would really truly be a sacrafice for me. I'm giving up meat...all meat and soda actually. I am definitely a carnivore so this is really going to be hard. I think I overdosed on cheeseburgers yesterday.

I'm not Catholic anymore, but I have always thought that giving up something for Lent was a good thing and have encouraged my children to try to think of something they could do as well.

I don't observe lent, so I won't be giving up anything more than I have all ready given up.

I am giving up chocolate, and also doing daily devotionals, which is something I have never done.

going to work. Oh wait, I'm suppose to give up something I enjoy!!

That is how I became vegetarian! Good for you! :goodvibes

Chocolate. I'm not Catholic, but the church I grew up in has a tradition of Lenten self-denial just the same. I'll certainly think about it often ; )

I've been whittling away at bad foods. Don't eat out like I used to and have cut out fried foods. I'm working through the pantry and freezer eating the last of the prepared foods (I'm not going to throw it out!).

I've used Lent as a habit launcher in the past. Three weeks is a habit!

I'm Baptist, I observe Lent. Does your church not observe it? :confused3

To answer the question, I'm giving up fried foods this year.
