Pintradingwedding, you’re going to think I’m goofy, but I did carry a purse that night. You can see it lying on the table in the following photo: click here. It was the purse that I was using for my vacation, nothing special or anything like that, just your average purse with a shoulder strap.

The main reason I carried a purse was because I was carrying around a lot of money for cash tips. Since my vow renewal dress did not have a pocket (drats!), I had no choice but to carry a purse.

For the most part, my mom kept tabs on my purse for me, but at one point in the evening I had completely lost track of it. Yikes! Luckily, it somehow made its way through the night and found its way back to my Grand Floridian room with me, all safe and sound (and all the money had magically disappeared into the appropriate folks’ pockets).

I had one as well, i only decided on one about 5 days before the wedding, i just carried extra lipstick, excedrin, the tip money, and i think that's it. i left it in the bride's vestibule during the ceremony, and then my mom took care of it until i needed it again for the tip $$$..

I found a purse on eBay that I loved! It is round, shaped like a pomander arrangement with silk roses all over. A crystal handle at the top. It is large enough for essentials only, like lipstick, powder and ID, with a zipper. I looked online and couldn't find a photo of something similar. I will post pictures when we come back.

Mine matched the colored embroidery on my dress. I tucked a few tisuues in there, an extra set of contacts, lens solution, my glasses &a few bobby pins.

Yes, I am carrying a handbag, but not down the aisle! Just for later, during dinner. Need somewhere to keep a few essentials. You know. Lip gloss, hankie, taxi fare (in case it doesn't work out) Ha ha. Just kidding.

Those are really cute handbags, y'all. I wish I could post a photo of mine. I found the cutest purse in The French Quarter (New Orleans) when we were there last weekend. It's a clutch shape, with a thin shoulder strap; looks like heavy lace (the bodice of my dress is lace) with light beading.

PINTRADINGWEDDING--They had some of her purses in the shop where I bought my handbag--in fact, I saw them through the window, that's why I went in there in the first place. They are ADORABLE! I wanted one so badly, but none went with my dress, not even a little. Did you see her new design on the web, called "Snow White"? Darling.

I am not getting married (that I know of anyhow!) but I don't think I plan on carrying one or having the extra hassle. I will assign someone else the job of 'tipper' and having anything I need at my disposal lol. I have 3 sisters so they should come in handy for something lol.

While I was at Dollar Tree getting odds and ends for the house, I came across a small wedding pouch in the wedding section. I never thought of carrying a purse until then. Since it is now almost two weeks before the wedding I grabbed it (since it was only a $1), just to have incase I never got around to getting an "actual" purse. It is real cute. White, with sequins around the top. Can't beat it for a buck. I won't be carrying it down the aisle, but I will have it at the reception.

I don't have a good picture of it, but I found a purse that almost exactly matched my dress and I carried for our Intimate Wedding. I really wanted a purse and when I found one that matched I had to get it. I had lipstick, powder, bobby pins, extra hanky, y'know some "just in case" items in there. My best friend held it during the ceremony and cake cutting and she carried it around for me during the pictures. I'm glad I had it and it was very pretty, but I think I could have just given her that stuff to keep in her own purse if I'd needed it.

Hmm I haven't thought of carrying a purse...maybe. My grandma has some really amazing vintage purses that i could use for my something "borrowed". I just don't want to have to watch my purse all night so my moh or my mom will probably be on purse patrol all night.

no i didnt. my moh did have a small bag she used that held a makeup touch up for me though. i personally dont like when theres to many accessories on a bride.
