Thank you! I think so too! "vintage" seems to be the theme of most things I've picked for my wedding....or "vintage-looking" at least . But, in this case I bought it new.

I will be using my mother's wedding bag which matches her gown that I am also wearing - but she already knows either she or my aunt will be responsible for it for the duration of the wedding.

my dress comes with a matching purse. i might have someone else carry it or hold it during the actual service, but i'll have it somewhere with me during the reception. i need my essentials.

I would love to see pictures after your wedding - how great is that to be able to share the dress through generations! My mom's dress was gorgeous, and I would have loved to wear it, but she was SO tiny! I tried it on about a year before she passed and I needed 3 extra inches of material to close the back. I'm a size 4 and it was too small - mom was like 90 pounds when she got married!

Fortunately, she helped me pick out my own gorgeous wedding gown before she passed. It was the last thing we did together She carried a purse too, and that probably influenced my wanting to carry one.

I used a purse. I had a horrible case of the sniffles (allergies or stress, I don't know) all week prior to the wedding. I carried a purse for tissues, my compact, and the touch up brushes you got from Disney Cosmo. My WP held it for me during the ceremony.

I LOVED my purse. I wish I had another excuse to use it!
