With new policy, are you planning on booking ADR's 180 days out?

Our 180 mark will be here soon and not sure if I should just book and change if we change our minds later ::yes::

For some of the harder places to get - like Le Cellier, LTT before MNSSHP and Victoria and Albert's - yes, I will book 180 days out. For others, probably not.

Yep, this started end of October. You can book them 180 days before inclding CRT. So it's 180 + 10. You can start booking 180 days before and up to 10 days after first day...
Hope that made sense :)

Do you have to be staying onsite to be able to book your whole trip? i.e. the 10 days.

The reason I ask is because my Aunt will be staying off site. So how will they know when her vacation begins.

Thanks,
Tina

I will for the harder to get ADR's as well as CP and PSB for the early seatings. My 180 day mark is tomorrow and as much as I love planning I honestly don't have time right now to plan my meals for a trip that is 6 months away....

I cannot believe I am late again! I vowed this year to make every ressie exactly at the 180 day mare, and missed it again! Interesting to see how many others are making ADR's 180 days out. Guess we'll see when I try to book CRT! We leave 5/28.

Also, for Previous poster, I am fairly certain you need to stay on site to make ADR's. They always ask you for your reservation number when you call....someone correct me if I'm wrong. :wave2:

I plan too but we will be going next year between December 26 to Jan 2nd. I think you could always book them and then change your plans later. I want to be safe and make sure we have our dinners booked that week since I know the parks will be super busy.

We are going in May and booked all our ADR's at 180 days. We got everything we want at the times we wanted.

We're going April 29 to May 7. I called yesterday and had a hard time getting Crystal Palace for the date we wanted, so obviously other people are calling 180 days out.

I am like a lot of you...I thought that you had to be staying on property in order to book the 180 days out, but that is not the case. I just called on Friday to book for our trip from the 19-29th of April. To my surprise there were not a lot of seatings left for CRT (and there were seating spread out for Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and Donalds Breakfastosauras). But I got one...I get nervous about it because of the posts and the price...but I would have to say that people are obviously making their resies 180 days out!

GOOD LUCK everyone!

My 180 day is approaching and yes I will be!!

With the DDE card and MYW plans -- definitely--

I will have to make time--even with the xmas holiday, shopping etc

good luck everyone :)

I have been booking our ADR's for our may28-june 6 trip over the last few days. Since the june emh schedule is out and we are going during memorial day and gay days i figured i better get them as early as possible!!

I made ADR's for our April 30 - May 5 trip a couple of weeks ago and had no problem getting what we wanted. Cinderella's Breakfast was even available for 3 different days of our trip - imagine that!!

Yep, I plan as far in advance as I can that way as the time gets closer I can relax more. I've booked the room, the rooms on the way down and back, and planned our days and meals (allowing flexibility, of course..I have a 2 yo). I go over it closer to the time we are leaving and if I need to change something I will. Once we get there things may change a little bit, but I call to cancel if something comes up. I am a planner, but we're flexible, too. We have "winged it" in the summer before and it just felt really chaotic. If we go during January or Feb. we just go with the flow because it's not realy crowded and most restaurants you can walk into w/o ADRs.

Yes, I'm ready to call on Thursday. I made our schedule this weekend when June hours became available and I should be set to go.

Hmm, just where can you find these? I've only managed to find the May schedules, and we don't arrive until 4 June. Help please? :sunny: :paw:

YES!

In fact, I booked a trip for Memorial Day week even though we didn't know if DH could get that week off. I booked it because I wanted to have a ressie # to make ADR's at the 180 mark. Got up at 5:45 AM (central time) and called to make the ressies. Got 'em all. That same day DH found out we can't travel until August so I had to call back and cancel them all. Better safe than sorry!

Now I am anxiously awaiting Feb. 4 so I can do it all over again! I don't want to chance missing an ADR that we really want. If the park hours are screwy I will just deal with it. I want my meals all reserved the minute the phone lines open on that 180th day before WDW!

Thanks, Allison! Our 180 days begins tomorrow, and although I'm not worried about making ADRs right at that mark, I do want to have them by week's end. You've been a big help! :worship:
