Are you anti-war?

War is a fact of life. That is how the world became the world we know.

I think there are issues that are worth fighting for. I'd rather there be no reason for war, however.

What I mean is,DO you think that there is NEVER a legitimate excuse to go to
war?

Put that way, NO I am not anti-war. I am not against war on terrorism or terrorists. I would not have said that pre-9/11 or the few years leading up to 9/11 with all the terrorist attacks against the United States.

Do I think that we should sit back and turn the other cheek when we are the blatant targets of terrorist groups, H---- NO. The next attack in my opinion would be bigger and far more devastating. I want my grandchildren and their children to have the same freedom that I have had, that our founding fathers fought for and to not have to live in fear.

I am not pro-war for the sake of war or for the sake of boosting the economy.

I am anti-war in general. I just think that humans have made SO many advances in technology and humanity that there has to be a better way now. After all, most nations capable of initiating an all-out war are just as civilized as we are here in the US. I just have to believe that in a world full of civilized people with virtually unlimited technology at our fingertips, we should find a better way.


War is not a laughing matter, but here's an idea! Why can't they just fight it out on XBox live...maybe a big global Halo 2 tournament or something?
