Ever since I was a little gal of only 5 or 6, I absolutely refused to wear socks. And any time it was completely necessary, like during gym class, I'd turn my socks inside-out, so the seam wouldn't touch my toes.

Even though it seems silly to me now, I've been anti-socks so long I can't seem to break out of it! I'll steal a pair from DF to wear if my feet are cold in winter, but I'd still rather get frostbite than wear socks with shoes, even snow boots. As you can imagine, I practically LIVE in sandals whenever possible! Not the best footwear for living in the Windy City, but at least summer's on its way and I'll have an excuse!

Is anyone else part of the anti-socks club? DF seems convinced that I'm the only crazy one out there, but there's gotta be other sock-haters around, right?

I'm in the anti-sock category but maybe not as bad as you.
I can't stand socks. My feets feel like they are suffocating. I even wear boots with no socks. I prefer my sketcher flip flop or my sandals with wonderful support. Unless I am exercising I usually don't wear socks with sneakers.

My 6 yo dd hates having the seams touch her toes too. She has to have the ends of her socks folded to keep them from hurting her toes

I used to be like that but not anymore. I have to wear socks with sneakers because my feet get too sweaty and smelly, YUCK! I do hate to wear socks in the summer so I try to wear slip ons or sandals as much as possible.

I'm not quite as bad as you but I hate wearing socks and shoes. I would much rather go around barefoot.

Dizneenut-I am with you . I hate anything on my feet. My feet don't sweat , that is the problem so they just get hotter and hotter with little relief until I rip those babies off (the socks and shoes that is, not my feet LOL)

I hate to wear shoes and socks and so does DD, we both get them off as soon as we hit the door. I have finally started wearing those little footie things just to keep my shoes from smelling, but the minute I get home, off they come!!

I get in my anti-socks mood. Usually during the warm weather. During cold weather, I like to keep my toesies warm. During the summer I go barefoot as much as possible.

PD, I would get rid of them, but I'd get arrested.

i don't mind socks, but i hate wearing shoes!! i kick my shoes off at work and run around in my socks or barefeet...i live for summer when i can be totally barefoot all summer long!!

I'm not a huge fan of socks...I hate shoes though. All my shoes/sneakers/sandals I own are backless so I can easily take them off lol

LOL! I'm just like BabyLove99! I'm not anti-sock, I'd rather wear socks than shoes! I hate shoes, even though I own tons of them but -- most of mine are backless too! I have tons and tons of clogs, mules and sandals, even clog like sneakers. I have boots too (dress boots, no snow boots), but only 3 pair of real shoes (to wear with dresses).

I will run around shoeless, even in the dead of winter, but if my feet are cold, I put on socks. I even have a pair of "foot jewelry" that makes you look like you're wearing sandals, but they have no soles. LOL! I haven't worn them in years and years, but I still have them. LOL!

I used to turn my socks inside-out when I was little, too! I'm always barefoot at home, and live in flip-flops all summer. That doesn't stop me from loving to buy shoes, though

I'm the opposite. I never wear shoes around the house, but would not dream of wearing no socks. I don't notice too much when women don't wear socks, but I think men who do not wear socks look filthy (maybe because of all the hair.)

I NEVER wear socks. I hate them. I don't really like going barefoot but my flipflops are always on. I own so many pairs. Even in the winter I'm wearing my flipflops. When it's snowing out, im the one wearing my flops in the snow while everyone is in their boots. I know I'm crazy but there is just something about socks and closed toe shoes. When I was little I never liked to wear my stockings. If the little line went bellow my toes, I freaked. I'm still kinda like that but I avoid them as much as possible.
