I think I am, but maybe others might see it different then me :rotfl:

I hit a landmark birthday last year that I refused to acknowledge. I told my husband and son to buy nothing, no dinner, no cake, no flowers, no cards. I wasn't acknowledging that one at all.

I'll celebrate this year because it is plus one year, but I still don't think I'm as old as I am.

I used to think so until I caught a reflection of myself today and saw my MOTHER!! :lmao: I thought SHE was OOOOOOOOLD!!

Most days I think so, but some days...not so much. However, I'm 44 and still get carded pretty regularly when going into the casino or liquor store, so I guess that must be a yes. I most definitely do NOT think I look under 21....but the law says if you think someone looks under 30 you should ask to see ID. I can go with "maybe" I look under 30. LOL

When I was at WDW one year, I was staying at the Dolphin an I wanted to go to the gym every day, well inside was a bunch of young hard body's, but I still wanted to do it, so I just went straight to the tread mill and worked out, I was keeping my head down, cause I felt funny
Anyway after a while I saw in the corner of my eye, a guy running that was older then me and he was fat, so I started feeling better about myself. Anyway I ntoice fat boy was running a long time,so I turned to get a good look at the guy and it was a mirror :scared1:, I am the old fat guy

On the inside I'm aging well but the outside is not doing quite so well:thumbsup2

I tell everyone I'm 10 years older than I am and people always tell me I look good for my age. It's the only way I'm getting a compliment:lmao:

Ok, that was funny right there.

That is funny!!

I am a swimmer, so will swim lap after lap after lap. While in the water, I feel like that high school swimmer, smooth as a dolphin, one with the water, cutting down the lane. Then I get out of the water, go back to the locker room and catch a gander of myself in the mirror. HOW CAN THAT MIDDLE AGED LUMPY BROAD be me? :scared1::scared1:

Oh well. At least I can still get in the pool and swim a mile and a half or two.

I am aging okay. Never a sun goddess so few wrinkles, staying fairly fit, if I could just convince my knees to cooperate and not act like they are nearly 50!!!!

you are sooooo not the old fat guy:banana:

I thought I was,but my belly is telling me gravity stinks!!:lmao:

I agree! You're buff from what I can see! :thumbsup2

I'm aging well, both inside and out. Either that or my two younger sisters are aging poorly because that's how I compare. At 49, I have no gray hairs, and both of my sis's have tons. Their skin looks older than mine, but one is a heavy smoker and the other has uses so much foundation makeup since she was a teen that I really believe it ruined her skin.

I'm silly and laugh at the stupidest things, and I think it's keeping my attitude young.

BUT I'm not out of the woods. High blood pressure runs in my family, usually starting at 50ish, so we'll see if my good health takes a turn in a few years.

EDITED to add: I did have a very bad high blood pressure scare a few weeks ago that tuned about to be a miscalibrated digital sphygmomanometer!

I wish I was aging at least a little. I am 26 and get mistaken for 18 or 19 all the time. In fact they always think my cousin who is 3 years younger is older than me. I know in a few years it will be a blessing but it kind of stinks right now.

Aging well or aging gracefully? I had a 23 year old guy say he thought I was "hot" a couple of weeks ago (I'm 33 so to me he is a baby.) I'm not graceful about it at all, though. I'm fighting age like Tyson fought Holyfield. I try to eat right, work my butt off, keep learning new make up tricks, find a hairstyle that doesn't make me look like I'm trying too hard to be young but doesn't make me look like I've packed it all in and will be sporting elastic waist polyester pants, either. And clothes? It's hard to find clothes that cover what needs to be covered on a mother with a preteen boy (and therefore preteen friends of said boy) and yet isn't the aforementioned polyester pants. I have a decent body, no one will ever mistake me for a VS Angel but let's just say my husband has gotten some high fives when guys he works with meet me for the first time. I don't have wrinkles except for a frown line right between my eyes (which is EXACTLY like the one my mother has and I've had it since my teens....ugh) but I keep watching my jaw to see if it will start to have the "Droopy Dawg" thing going on like my mother and grandmother had. I cannot tell you the times I've asked DH if I look like my mother. He may not be the brightest bulb in the hallway, but he knows enough to say "You look like you MIGHT be her granddaughter."

OP - does something happen to the rest of your body when you take that bag off your head? Because, if that's you in the avatar - you don't look like an old fat guy to me. But that story was tooo funny!

I'd like to think I'm aging well. I recently worked in a bank for a while, where I often waited on former classmates. Upon mentioning this to my coworkers ("I graduated with him/her"), the response tended to be something along the lines of "You look a lot younger." Maybe they were just buttering me up, though...

Last year, however, I got a nice wake-up call. I worked a temp job, helping in HR, and got to be pretty friendly with the HR lady. She guessed my age spot-on one day, and said, "You look younger, but your crow's feet give it away." Gee, thanks...

I don't think so. Except for losing weight and bering the smallest I've ever been I look my age.
I never wear make up because I can't be bothered with it but it would help a little with the lines and to even out the skin tone.

I think the key is to be friends with people who are just about 15 years younger because they apparently have no clue how to judge age. When I hit my milestone birthday last year, there were no fewer than 4 of my co-workers who said "I can't believe you're XX!" and they are all between the ages of 30 and 36. :rotfl: I guess if you look close up (crows feet, but I do take care of my skin), and I didn't color my hair (I am completely white/gray!!!), you would know my age!
