Just call me Suzie Chapstick! I have been addicted as long as I can remember. Oh, the pain of chapped lips in the 70's when all they had was pure wax sticks. I don't know which was worse....the chapped lips or the feeling of trying to scrape on that hard chapstick. SO glad they softened the stuff. My addiction is Burts Beeswax. I love the stuff. Have them everywhere. Thanks for reminding me. I need to put it on my list of things to get when I visit the States next month.
I carry it with me at all times. I hae a backup in my vehicle, my desk, briefcase, bathroom drawer, kitchen drawer, and I keep one under the bed. If I lose my Chapstick, which doesn't happen very often I panic
Me too! I have one in my desk, purse, car, bedside table, kitchen drawer, bathroom...I'm addicted for sure! I too panic if I can't find it, or if, God forbid, I'd forget it while away for any amount of time. I "plan" to have it at all times.
I have them in all sorts of flavors. They are everywhere too: next to my computer, in my purses, in my desk at work, next to the bed, in the bathroom, etc.
I got my first Lip Smacker by Bonne Bell for Christmas when I was in Junior High School over 25 years ago and have been an advocate and constant user ever since.
Oops! Better scoot. My lips are feeling a little dry so I have to get my Lip Smacker.
Hello,my name is Lisa and I am a Chapstick addict.
It might be a genetic flaw, since I am a third generation addict on my father's side. I will use other brands in a pinch, but my preference is all about the Chapstick. Like lots of you, I have them all over the house and in my car. I don't care what flavor, although I am partial to the just plain. When my now DH and I were in college and separated by 500 miles, a good friend of mine gave me a mint one, saying that it would make my lips tingle while he couldn't!
Is there anything more depressing to an addict than accidentally leaving a chapstick in your pocket through the laundry and then finding its empty husk lying in the bottom of the dryer? Sometimes I get desperate, like when the stick gets accidentally twisted too far and then stuck in the cap. Then I have to use my pinkie to scoop it out. I'm not proud of this.
I feel better getting that off my chest. Thank you for your support!
My DD19 has a major addiction to chap stick and lip gloss. She has more than I can count. She always has some on her in some way shape or form. She lives for this stuff!!

I've never thought about it before but I guess I am an addict. I don't wear lip stick and thought that I was just like one of those women who always had to have their lips painted but mine is clear. I always put a tube in my pocket if I don't carry a purse. It makes my skin crawl to have dry lips.

Yep. Coming home and finding that my little dog also likes Lip Smacker by Bonne Bell and shows me so by eating the inside and leaving the empty husk behind.
I have those little blue pots of Blistex Lip Medex EVERYWHERE! I occasionally use Bonnie Bell when the mood strikes me! I wear lip gloss all day at work - but when that comes off, the Blistex goes on! The potted Blistex are kind of hard to find here - I buy them by the case of 12 at WalMart.
Not me, but my husband. We have to turn around and go back home if he forgot his lip product of choice. It drives me crazy, especially when one of them ends up in the wash.
Add me to the list. We were just talking about this at the pool the other day. I use Blistex sticks and they live in each bathroom, at my bedside, in each purse, ect. well I broke my toe on vacation and my husband and kids left me at the pool for the day. I thought I had all I needed, but forgot the Blistex in the condo!!! Major lip dry out! I hobbled back to get it when I couldn't stand it any more. I'd rather hurt the toe than the lips. They are just too addicted! It's a sad fact. I also love Bonnie Bell Dr. Pepper because it adds the nice color and smells good. I have used it since I was 10. Wow. That makes me feel so old!

My boss always walks in my office when I'm reapplying my gloss and he is probably thinking "who on earth is she glossing up for" but little does he know I need a 12 step program
I am too-for me its lip gloss when I am out and at home or before bed its lip balm. And I have different kinds of lip balm, Kiehl's is my favorite. Daytime lip balm with sunscreen and its a shea butter heavier balm for my lips while I am sleeping. I am addicted. But hey, atleast I have soft healthy lips right?
