are you a "star fanatic"?

There are people that send away for autographs and such.
Go to all the movies one person does, whatever...

I used to be like that ( to a certain extent going to every movie someone did etc ) but now I just dont care.

My favourite band is coming to town this summer ( YAY) and while Im thrilled to go see them again because I love their music I would honestly be hard pressed to pick one of them out of the crowd lol. DH made comments like " No were arent going to wait back stage for them" Where did he get the idea that I wanted to do that??
I have no interest in meeting them at all! I just love the music!


Now I might enjoy meeting someone on a casual basis but I wouldnt purposely seek them out KWIM?


So where do you fall in that? Are you a "star watcher"? or just a " star observer"?

I'd say I'm just a "star observer". If I see someone fine, but I wouldn't seek them out.

I used to get "obsessed" with one group and want to be a star seeker... actually after the whole fainting at the Sugar Ray concert thingy... I am so over it...

Plus one of my very good friends is in a band now and it amazes me what goes on from their side of it.... they are a pretty well known band with lots of loyal followers... At their last concert I literally got pushed out of the way by some chick who thought she'd get my friends attention with her slut wear. (they were giving out fresh orchid leis) Hilariously enough he reached right past her and gave me the lei... it's amazing what goes on backstage but it's given me a whole different perspective on how I look at bands and celebs

I do enjoy doing the stage door thing when I go see shows with people in it I'm familiar with. I've met 5 or 6 former Broadway Belles and have a good amount of autographed programs. It's fun to meet people who are living my dream.
