I don't *enjoy* waking up early, but on weekdays I'm the 1st one up (6am). Then I work out, eat breakfast, and wake up my sleepy crowd (DH, DD11, DS5). More often than not, DS will fight waking up and can even throw a fit about it. DS and DH are extreme non-morning people. On weekends, they can both sleep in pretty late. DD will get up fairly easy if necessary.
Last summer we were at WDW and with the time difference it was a fight every morning to get up, shove down breakfast (we always ate in our hotel room) and try to get to the parks by rope drop and beat the heat/crowds.
So, for those who have practice with this... does anybody have good strategies on waking up my sleepyheads in the mornings to hit the parks? Not necessarily needing to get there by rope drop, but within the hour of opening would be good. We're staying at the DLH and I plan to stock the room with breakfast items so we can just eat in the room as usual.
