Are you a Morning person?

I'm definitely a morning person. When I sleep in I'm usually up by 6am. I normally wake without the alarm between 4:30-5am.

Annoyingly cheerful in the morning, too. ;)

oh god mj you're not one of those and I liked you too...thank god we saw each other in April after I was awake a bit:rotfl:

Oh dont get me wrong, I have a job. My hours are just from 2pm until very late at night. I have just been a Night Owl since childhood. My mom used to come in my room at 1 or 2 am to find me reading my little golden books!:rotfl:

oops! didn't mean it like that. I start at 7am, i have to wake up early. When I was single, i worked a 3-11pm shift and loved it!

I don't really consider myself a morning person, but if I'm in Disneyland I'm more then happy to get up early. Just make sure to give me food and caffeine and there wont be any problems. :rotfl:

if I dont have my coffee in the morning, watch out! I dont mind waking up in the morning, but I am right there with you wendylady :coffee:

May I please know what you sprinkle on your wheaties in the morning, or maybe at night? he he!
I normally do not wake up in a particularly good mood, unfortunately. Once in a great while, I do, and when that is the case, I am quite shocked! ;) he he! seriously. Anyway, I am thinking that I am far more of a day and night person, because I was born close to midnight. :)

I'm usually not a morning person, but for DL I try get to the park as early as I can :)

I am totally a morning person. 7 am is sleeping in for me. haha I naturally wake at 5:45 ready to start my day.

My kid, who is my travel companion, not so much. Although she gladly gets up and is significantly more motivated to get out the door when Disneyland is involved. :woohoo: Especially when bribed with breakfast from Carnation Cafe.

I don't *enjoy* waking up early, but on weekdays I'm the 1st one up (6am). Then I work out, eat breakfast, and wake up my sleepy crowd (DH, DD11, DS5). More often than not, DS will fight waking up and can even throw a fit about it. DS and DH are extreme non-morning people. On weekends, they can both sleep in pretty late. DD will get up fairly easy if necessary.

Last summer we were at WDW and with the time difference it was a fight every morning to get up, shove down breakfast (we always ate in our hotel room) and try to get to the parks by rope drop and beat the heat/crowds.

So, for those who have practice with this... does anybody have good strategies on waking up my sleepyheads in the mornings to hit the parks? Not necessarily needing to get there by rope drop, but within the hour of opening would be good. We're staying at the DLH and I plan to stock the room with breakfast items so we can just eat in the room as usual.
