Are you a good sleeper?

I usually sleep...

  • ...really well

  • ...not too bad most nights

  • ...only have trouble sleeping when I'm stressed

  • ...sleep at night, what's that? I wish I could!

I'm usually out like a light. For me, having trouble sleeping means that I take maybe 30 minutes to drop off, or wake up once during the night. Now DH has really bad insomnia. He can be talking to me, and I'll answer him. 30 seconds later, I'm sound asleep! It drives him nuts!

REALLY WELL!!!

Now that I have my King Size Serta Perfect Night mattress w/quilted top!!!!

I sleep pretty well. I toss & turn alot, though, which drives DH nuts. :teeth:

My husband makes fun of me because I wake up at him flicking on the light switch. I wake up at the slightest noise.

I toss and turn all night long. And when I finally fall asleep I tend to wake up for apparently no reason just out of the blue. Stress, being sick, and just everything seem to keep me awake. Too bad I have trouble staying awake in class:rolleyes: .

when life is calm, i sleep like a baby! very rarely have trouble falling asleep-dh says he's never know anyone who can lay down and be asleep so soon, before he's even shut the lights out!

when there is some stress in the house, my ibs kicks in and i am up a good part of the night, in the bathroom. i keep telling these people that live with me that they are destroying my intestinal system, lol!

4 or 5 times Im up at night...Toss and turn left and right. If my wife moves, I jump....

I sleep walk. gotten up in the middle of the night and made Orange Juice.

Another time, wife is up early getting ready for work. I walk out of the bedroom with my roll-a-board suitcase in nothing but a pair of boxers. Its 20degrees outside and I open the door. Wife says, what are you doing. I told her I was going to be late for my trip. Seems my dream I was a Flight Attendant and I was late for my trip. I was sure I was going to get fired. She got me back into bed and laughed.

Another time I woke up, took the picture off the wall. Another time, I woke up standing on the bed swinging at the ceiling....Spiders and bats were trying to get me....

Ive got serious issues....

I'd be a great sleeper if I wasn't married to this guy!!!
He didn't mention all the talking and giggling he does also... :chat:

I have always wanted to try one of those foam toppers. I heard that they can tend to make you sweat at night. Is that true?

I generally sleep fantastically well since putting a high density foam topper on my bed. Before that, I was a major tosser/turner. I love my topper!

Usually like a rock, in fact more soundly the older I get. DH has come home several nights late from class and I have been sleeping in the great room above the garage. He opened the overhead door (loud) came up stairs, talked to me, sat on the table in front of me before I woke up! FREAKED Him and me and out that I was that asleep. Then we even had the dog, would would walk around and wag tail when he heard the door.

I have been known to giggle in my sleep and once DH asked me what was so funny and I told him he had to be there! :rotfl:

DH has been away 6 weeks and comes home Sunday. Now, I have not slept well in 6 weeks....I will probably sleep for a week when he gets home!

Wish me luck tonight....I had hot coffee, iced tea and a Dunkin Iced coffee today!!!:hyper: :hyper:

3 or 4 times a year I'll have a problem. Other than that.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. One of those nights is the night before WDW.

I would lay awake for hours even as a child. How I envy all of you who sleep well!

I did the same as a child. My DH can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. I told him he so lucky not to suffer from insomnia.
