Yup, 7 times. Twice to my best friend's kids, Raquel and Thomas Jude (who was also named after me!), and 5 times to 4 of my brother's kids - Lindsay Ann, Timothy Wade, Chelsea Nicole, Vanessa Judith (also named after me...and my sis!) and Daisy Mae.

I have two goddaughters. One is my 33 year old cousin who is also my godmother's daughter. The other is my almost 10 year old niece Marisa who is my oldest brother's daughter.

I can't even believe I am old enough to have a 33 year old goddaughter. I was 14 at the time of her christening.

I have one godson and I iwsh that i was able to spend more one on one time with him. He is also my nephew and my sister has two other children so i am usually with all three of them or my middle nephew who is the same age as my daughter.

I am not but my athiest husband has 2 godchildren??? He wasnt exactly athiest when they asked him but he wasnt a church goer either. I think some people just pick their friends rather than someone who will actually look after their childrens spiritual well being.

I'm not a church goer and my family had no problem picking me! I totally agree with your last sentence.

I am not but my athiest husband has 2 godchildren??? He wasnt exactly athiest when they asked him but he wasnt a church goer either. I think some people just pick their friends rather than someone who will actually look after their childrens spiritual well being.
